Women in Maritime: Safety, Inclusion and Change

This year’s IMO International Day for Women in Maritime brought together experts from across the sector, including BlueRights members Professor Momoko Kitada and Professor Anna Petrig. The discussion highlighted why gender equality is central to maritime safety, wellbeing, and sustainability – from properly fitting personal protective equipment to creating safer and more inclusive workplaces at sea.
